I am an Associate Professor in Earth and Exoplanet Climatology at the University of Southampton in the United Kingdom.

My scientific research interests are focused on the theory and development of numerical models for the study of dynamics and climate of planetary atmospheres.

I am Portuguese, from a small town called Vidigueira. In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, exploring mountains, playing/watching football games, watching movies, and playing Age of Empires III with Sandra.
